The Jimmy "Preacher" Ellis Blues Band is an accomplished  group of blues musicians based in Dallas, Texas.  We have been creating and performing blues music for years, playing with great artists such as B.B. King, Bobby Blue Bland, Albert King, Johnnie Taylor, and Big Mamma Thornton.  Last year, the band opened up for Chubby Checker at the Choctaw Casino in Durant, Oklahoma.  The band's venues include hotels, casinos, restaurants, clubs, festivals, pubs, weddings and private parties.

 

The band's set lists include: 

BLUES, R&B, CLASSIC ROCK, 60's, COUNTRY, JAZZ, LATIN, and FUNK!

 

 

Jimmy "Preacher" Ellis was inducted into the Oklahoma Blues Hall of Fame in 2008 and has three CD's out in the United States and Europe.
